📢 CONTRABASS Secondment Update! 

This week, Loyford Muchui Mugambi (DC4 from NTNU Department of Structural Engineering (KT)) has started his secondment at CNRS – Université Bourgogne Europe in Dijon, France 🇫🇷🔬 
During his stay at the ICB Laboratory, Loyford will study the dissolution kinetics of C–S–H and C–A–S–H at different chemical conditions, under the guidance of Christophe Labbez. 🧪 He will also use the laboratory’s in-situ ICP-OES setup to investigate the dissolution–precipitation process during C(-A)-S-H carbonation. ,

Loyford received a warm welcome from Christophe, fellow DC3 Jeswin Jiji, and the other PhD students at the laboratory, making for a great start to this new research adventure. 🤝
