Last week, Omnya Abdalla, one of our dedicated DCs at IBAC–RWTH, participated in the 4th ICSBM Conference held in Eindhoven, Netherlands (10–13 August 2025) 🇳🇱 

🧪 Omnya presented a poster on her recent experimental findings on the carbonation of pure phase calcium aluminate. 

🎤 Her supervisor, Dr. Thomas Matschei, also delivered a keynote presentation titled: 
“Closing the loop – Leveraging alternative SCM sources for future binder systems.” 

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share, and learn with experts from the building materials community! 🤝
