🔬 CONTRABASS Outreach Highlight – European Researchers’ Night! 

Last Friday, Aden Rana (DC7) took part in the #EuropeanResearchersNight held in Barakaldo, organized by UPV/EHU. 🎉🧪 

A huge thank you to Prof. Eider Robles Sestafe for organizing the event, and to Dr. Edurne Erkizia Jauregi, Dr. Eunate Goiti Ugarte, and Dr. Achutha Prabhu for their support! 👏 

As most of the visitors were young children, Aden took on the exciting challenge of explaining how computers can simulate and predict chemical reactions in Calcium Carbonate-based cement. He highlighted how simulations help us understand real-life processes and how sustainable cement can contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions. 🌍💻 

It was a fun and inspiring evening—a perfect mix of science, learning, and smiles! 😊
