This week, Loyford Muchui Mugambi (DC4) has begun his secondment at University of Oulu, where he received a warm welcome from Prof. Päivö Kinnunen, Hoang Nguyen, and fellow DC Fangyuan Ren. 🇫🇮🤝 

Loyford will be working at the NMR Research Unit with Dr. Otto Mankinen who will be guiding him to carry out solid-state NMR spectroscopy of carbonated C–S–H and C–A–S–H to understand the structural behavior of silica gels and alumina-silica gels resulting from different carbonation conditions. 🧪🔬
