Claire Giraudeau received her PhD in 2009 from UPMC, Paris VI, working on the intercalation of polymer between hydrocalumite layers at ESPCI Paris. She then studied the adsorption of sulfate anions on cementitious materials at ESPCI Paris and the synthesis of nanopowders to form high-density material at the CEA. In 2012 she started at Schlumberger as R&D engineer on cement formulation for oilfield applications. She then joined CHRYSO, SAINT-GOBAIN Construction Chemicals, in 2017 to study the interactions between mineral surfaces and organic molecules, applied to building industry.
